Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his enthusiasm in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is at the moment two years through the four-year contract he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has netted an impressive 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the maiden major achievement of his illustrious career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about returning home as he previously was, and would definitely think about prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues, reaching the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had avoided him until he won the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
